History tickets & upcoming events

Ever wonder about the story behind Ottawa's iconic venues? Well, the city’s history is pretty fascinating when it comes to its entertainment spots. Take the History venue, for example, it's been a cornerstone for live music and events for years. The place has hosted everything from classical music festivals with incredible audio setups that leave you feeling like you're right there in the orchestra pit, to big national events like the 2011 bike race that drew top cyclists from across the country. And honestly, the VIP boxes are pretty sweet, luxurious suites where you can kick back and enjoy the show in privacy, while the front orchestra seats put you right in the action, so close you might feel like waving to the performers. Plus, getting there is a breeze thanks to the scenic riverwalks perfect for pedestrians, or you can hop on designated bike routes along the central boulevard, that’s kind of the Ottawa way. The venue’s partnerships with local artists really add a special touch, making each event more vibrant. If you’re into customizing your experience, their interactive seating chart is a handy feature, whether you want front-row seats for Wolf Parade or a more budget-friendly option like Owen Riegling. Honestly, there’s something really magical about catching a live act here, and I’d say it’s a must-visit for anyone looking to soak up Ottawa’s rich cultural vibe.
